Pastel Look

This was what I wore during my Aunt Corinne's (of www.epicureanmommy.blogspot.com) graduation at the Global Culinary and Hospitality Academy in Makati City. I opted to go for light toned hue and finished it with "The Bag," my MCM sling bag that is. : ) The program lasted for almost two hour. It was short but concise which was followed later with a very delectable appetizers (which will be shown on my next post).

The Rugged Chick

Have you ever experienced having a problem choosing what clothes to wear when there's an impromptu gathering or happening that you should attend to? Well, I have my own solution to that when it happens to me. I usually gather my favorite comfortable clothes (from the Top to the Pants/leggings) and I choose between them which will be a great pair. Sometimes, I go for monochromatic colors, Patterned, or Printed all over, plus the Accessories, Of course!
So for my look today, these were my bets.

Simple pieces that could go a long way.

Basic colors could do the trick.

Popstar Wanna be?

My Biggest secret to share as a kid was to become a Popstar. Seriously! haha! Of course, It didn't happen! (Thank Goodness) But still, I do have that eagerness to try on those hilarious outfits, especially those girly colors (Purple & Pink) that resembles cuteness... This is what happens if you're a frustrated Popstar (Unfortunately, I didn't have the Voice too). So here's what I've tried:

Alone & Tailored

Casual chic was my inspiration for this outfit.

Today,  I just decided to pair this tailored khaki jacket with a nice pair of liquid leggings to make this outfit more appealing. For the top, I had this sleeveless from American eagle (Pink with print), the Jacket from Next, and the liquid leggings from Crissa. Gold/Pink accessories  from SM Accessories, Tan Sling bag from Coach.

Dress Me Down

Dress me down, I say.


Sometimes, I do admit pimping up my Little black dress into something new. Like what I did in this outfit. I wanted to make something out of the old one. So, over my Little Black dress is my pastel Pink Top (Topshop) plus scarf to make a new look. It's like Dressing up but at the same time Dressing down because of the toned colors...
When I look at this whole thing it would remind me of the Christmas Season, which is coming up soon... : )

Just got to "JUMP" the "SUIT"

Navy blue Jumpsuit, Black leather bag, Accessories (SM accessories)

Jumpsuits are still on the trend, and they are believed to be one of the basic outfits that should not be thrown out of your wardrobes. And I do agree with that, that's why I do have my own, and bought it for the price of 300ph! Would you believe it? It doesn't have any brand on it but  I guess it could pull of any Lazy day stroll to the mall (that is why it's called "Jump" Suit) or out with friends for coffee, right?!

Just pair it with those nice Ice-cees, & Blings, then Wha-la, you've got your own chic look for the lesser cost & effort.

Jumpsuits are Basic-friendly to trendy diva outfits. You can easily pair it with blazers/covers with belts.

A little PINK Won't Hurt

A little Pink won't hurt. That would be my statement for this outfit. 
Lace + Pink + Tattered jeans = feminine street chic
Simple pairing & matching of outfits seems like math, such as Leather + Floral, Tattered + Lace, Embelishments + Sequins, Tailored + girly touch, etc. 
So far, my favorite pair of jeans would be my Tattered light blue jeans from Hotkiss. I totally adored this piece from the first time I saw it. : ) I paired it with this light pink (Pastel) with lace details top from Topshop. Pimped it up with accessories, and my sling bag from MCM.

Denim-Logy

Dress (Muffin Boutique), Denim-styled Bracelet, Wedge Shoes (Katrina), Bag (MCM), Owl Necklace (SM accessories)

What got me wearing this time is this denim dress I got from Muffin Boutique. With this dress, nothing could go wrong. It could be worn casually for a "stroll at the mall" or "coffee with friends" day outfit. Paired with my MCM bag, Gray wedge shoes, and accessories.

I'm A Pixie

       I've gone Pixie again this time. I'm Spreading the pixie love all the way from UK to the Philippines. Another item that I got was this one. 

    It is a pretty white top with a back zipper and lace over the shoulder area which gives accent to its feminine side. I paired it with a high waisted shorts to balance the blouse's "hanging" style. Plus, accessories could go a long way with this outfit, because of it's colors which is mostly plain.
