Violet and sequins

Hi there!

Violet is actually my favorite color, in fact, the other shades that resembles this color (purple/lavender) are also on my list too! But I don't like the idea of wearing it on because it would be too obvious (especially for those people who knows me too well). Hehe!

But in this case, I have to make an excemption. About the dress, it is a two piece type of dress detailed with sequins that makes it chic, stylish, and eye-catching. It has this layer which can be removed if you preferred a simpler look. I actually bought this dress for the price of 45 riyals or 450 ph, would you believe? For a lovely dress like this for that amount is already a chance of a lifetime.

Lacey black dress

Dress: Annzo/ bag: Tatra/ shoes: Fioni

Minimalist look for today. Definitely one of the easiest look to pull off because it's all about the black color. Nothing goes wrong with black and black, right? I got this black dress from KSA (Annzo) which I think is very adorable with its details and lacey theme. I made it a point to shake things up a little bit because the dress itself looks formal, so by matching it with my studded black bag I think it would look cool with a rock n' roll twist.

What did you think of my look?

My nautical stripes

Hey there!

I got this lovely piece sent by my aunt from Japan and I thought it was a lovely present. This dress has this nautical theme, with its stripes and buttons which has an anchor logo to it (which I find so adorable). It's pretty simple but stylish.

Nautical Dress from Dorsch, with anchor buttons
The details of the dress are very simple so it can be worn casually or even match it with a pair of sneackers to go for a sporty look.

Stripped Blush

Okay so for the past days, the weather was not at its best. It was raining non-stop here because of a Super Typhoon, but thank God we're now safe. But during those past days, I was really bored that I got the chance to re-organize my clothes again and found time to wear them and show them to you guys! : )

I don't usually wear pink but I'm not saying that I don't like pink it's just that I'm not into "pinks." (I do hope you got my point, haha!) Anyways, "Spring" was my inspiration why I bought this two piece dress from K-2. When I saw the color, it was actually unusual for me to like it instantly because as I've said, Im not a "pink" person. But hey! I was diggin' in. Plus it has this lace accent in the middle which adds that sexiness to the whole look.

I do hope you liked the whole look, simple and subtle. The look that you can easily manage to wear anywhere and still looks classy, girly, and dainty.

Tangerine kind of day

Once in a while, when I was still staying in The Kingdom, I have this urge to do the things that I love. One afternoon, I was able to that. What can I say? I love to dress up! I bought the bondage dress at a store (Samena) in Saudi and the wedge heels from luichiny (c/o Rose my friend) which she got from an online store.

Never mind the background.

Dresses like this can be worn alone or you can put on some kimono or cardigan for that matter and it can be paired with a pair of flat shoes for a casual occasion (doll/ ballet shoes would be perfect).

Winter wonderland party

Guess I'm back!
 I missed blogging after sometime.
It's been a tiring 2012 for me and I was hoping that 2013 will be good to me. *fingers crossed*

Last December, we celebrated Christmas here in K.S.A with a blast. Actually, a "Winter wonderland theme" is more like it. It was my first Christmas away from home, so it was a little depressing but luckily I have Skype to compensate my longing...

Now back to the real thing. We were required to wear anything "winter-ee" and I guess what I wore passed the criteria... Hehe! My khaki sort of coat from Japan (Anita Arenburg), and black sheer dress (from K-2) did their thing, what I bought here were a pair of ankle black booties and a dotted black stockings to give it a twist.

Plus, my hair was a little out of the ordinary this time. My friend, Jamie is so good at doing hair ensembles that she managed to give justice to what I've asked her to do. (I felt like goldilocks only with darker hair) And the picture below was the end result. I opted for a subtle yet classy look for the hair, so we decided to accessorize it with peach beaded necklace.
