NYFW: Carolina Herrera S/S collection 2015 Review

The New York Fashion Week has officially kicked off this week and shows are star-studded as expected from Rihanna to Miley Cyrus (technically topless). But enough about the shenanigans, let's talk about Carolina Herrera's S/S collection 2015! 

I think the inspiration of the whole collection was rooted literally from "Spring". The season that brings us beautiful, blooming flowers; a season of a new beginning. The flower designs were made into these "graphic prints" that are bold enough to be seen. The colours also reflected the summer/spring colours which were bold, bright, and beautiful pastel colours. The designs ranges from above to below-the-knee dresses. What I personally loved about these fashion pieces is that it remains conservative and very lady-like. Carolina Herrera's name resembles with sophistication, and chic.

Tangerine kind of day

Once in a while, when I was still staying in The Kingdom, I have this urge to do the things that I love. One afternoon, I was able to that. What can I say? I love to dress up! I bought the bondage dress at a store (Samena) in Saudi and the wedge heels from luichiny (c/o Rose my friend) which she got from an online store.

Never mind the background.

Dresses like this can be worn alone or you can put on some kimono or cardigan for that matter and it can be paired with a pair of flat shoes for a casual occasion (doll/ ballet shoes would be perfect).

One of the many things that I've missed in The Philippines is the Beach. 

Summer heat, 

sun-kissed skin, 

sands on my feet, 

and the sea breeze

 caressing my face.

White cove, situated at Laiya, Batangas, is one of the many beaches you could go to. It's  an hour away drive from Metro Manila.
