Abe, Where Good Friends Dine...

Just today, we went to Abe (Ah-Beh) at the Mall of Asia (MOA) to celebrate my uncle's pre-birthday bash with his close friends from college. The place had a vintage theme to it as it was dedicated to the late Emilio Aguilar "Abe" Cruz, who was an artist, writer, and bon vivant. Abe is a Capampangan word for friend or companion, which is obviously stipulated under the name of the Restaurant, "Where Good Friends Dine" and which means that this restaurant serves the best of the Capampangan foods in the city.

What's Inside?
Lumpiang Ubod which was a thumbs up for me. The sauce killed it. : )
Abe's Knockout Knuckle is one of the specialties in this restaurant. Indeed, it was a knockout for it's very delectable taste (crispy pata).
Lamb Adobo is another specialty of Abe. Never tasted lamb as good as this. Yummy!
Sinigang na Bangus Belly with ripe guava.
Honestly, I personally didn't appreciate this dish after tasting the other dishes.

Abe's specialties include Abe's Chicken Supreme, Lamb Adobo with popped garlic, Knockout Knuckle, Binukadkad na Crispy Pla-Pla, Paco Fern & Tomato Salad, Bringhe, and Arobung Camaru & Betute.
